AxiaChat AI supports three major providers. Use one or all — each bot can have its own.

- Navigate to API Keys → Create new key
- Copy and paste into AxiaChat AI → Settings

Google provides a free API key with a generous free tier that covers many small-to-medium sites. Exact rate limits depend on the model and may change over time — check ai.google.dev/pricing for current details.
Getting Your Free Gemini API Key
- Go to aistudio.google.com and sign in with your Google account.
- In the left sidebar, click "Get API key".
- Click the blue button "Create API key in new project".
- Once the key appears, click Copy.
- Paste it into AxiaChat AI → Settings → Google Gemini API Key and save.
That's it — your chatbot is ready to use Gemini models at no cost.

Per-Bot Configuration
Each bot chooses its own provider and model:
- Go to AxiaChat AI → Bots.
- Edit a bot.
- In the Model section, select the provider and specific model.

Use a high-end model (GPT-5, Claude Opus) for your sales bot and a cheap model (Gemini Flash, GPT-5 Nano) for FAQ — all in the same site.
Switching Providers
You can change a bot's provider at any time:
- Instructions are preserved
- Context/embeddings remain the same
- Only the response model changes
- No reconfiguration needed
